Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 13, 2026

Kryleos builds privacy-first software. Our products — Oqira and Forge — are local-first desktop apps: your data lives on your device by default, and leaves it only in the narrow, clearly-described cases below. We do not sell your data, and we do not train models on it.

What stays on your device

For Oqira, your syllabus, tasks, study sessions, and behavioural signals are stored locally and processed by an on-device engine. For Forge, your code, plans, boards, and execution history stay on your machine. Neither app uploads this content to Kryleos.

When data leaves your device

Third-party model providers

Oqira's cloud tutoring may route through providers such as Groq and Google (Gemini) under data-processing agreements; Forge connects to the providers you choose (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, OpenRouter) or runs fully local via Ollama. Each provider handles the request under its own policy; we send the minimum payload required.

Children & students

Oqira is designed for students aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Subject labels (e.g. "Chemistry") may appear in study reminders, but identifying information never does.

Your controls

Both apps let you delete your local data, and any cloud-synced copy, at any time. You can run entirely offline. You can revoke API keys you provided whenever you like.
